Join CRDF Global on January 14 – 16, 2025, for the Workshop on Pan-African Water Resource Monitoring and Data Sharing with Nuclear Science and Technology to be held in Rabat, Morocco. This workshop, in support of the Sustained Dialogue on Peaceful Uses (SDPU), focuses on expanding the discussion around access to nuclear science and technology as a development tool in water resource management. Participants will engage in discussions on topics including water resource challenges, perspectives and needs in Africa, water resource management using nuclear and isotopic techniques, data collection and analysis as well as best practices around sustainable laboratory management and equipment maintenance. Through a variety of formats, the workshop aims to develop pan-African collaborations to utilize isotope hydrology for the monitoring and management of water resources. Key stakeholders include the International Atomic Energy Agency, Morocco’s National Centre for Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology, and representatives from government, academia, and development organizations.
